RQ-33 R-QUAD

I have the problem, that I canґt buy a RQ-33 Quad in Germany.
Nobody has any information about this antenna, so
I am looking here for the dimensions of a RQ-33 Quad to build it by myself.
Perhaps an EZNEC or MMANA File were also ok.

Thank you Oleg for the MAA File.
The Boom is with 6.4m a little bit to large.
I know, that the RQ-33 is only 4.6m long and works with
2/3/4 elements. That is enough for me, because I have some Problems
with my neighbour if the Antenna rotate over his Ground. :oops:

I'm not sure they have a dealer in DL or even in whole EU at all.

So, this is 10/15/20m , tribander.
Boom size 4,6m

Gain dbd(it's compared to the dipole, pay your attention on that) 7,4/6,4/5,4 dbd for 10/15/20m consequently.

F/B dbd, 20-27

Max torque radius - 3,5m

Weight - 36,5 kg

Antena is packaged into two heavy duty cardboard tubes 160х160х2300 mm and 160х160х1000 mm

Step by step assembly manual in Russian is supplied ;-)

You have to use a separate fider to connect each driven element to your antenna switch.
Pay your annention, this antenna has 100 Ohm impedance for 20m driven element, that why you have to use 2:1 matching transformer.

Hello,
thanks for the information about the RQ-33 Quad.
Now I build it with secondhand and homebuild parts.
The different against the orginal is, that I use isolated copper wires.
I had to reduce the length of all elements with a factor of 0,98.
The result is a good working antenna.

Here a photo of the finished Product.
Boom is made of 51mm Fibreglass with 8mm Wall.
The spreaders are also made of fibreglass and the crosses are aluminium.
