Из этого сообщения Gary ясно как делать себе прошивки самому и где их искать и подтверждение того что китайские радио надо проверять на железо и делать свои настройки под свои радио.. GW8RDI делает исходники для китайских радио и он лично столь любезен решить вопрос по исходникам для этих радио.
Guido PE1NNZ разработчик такого радио как USDX изначально и исходников с открытым кодом.

In the top of the firmware file there are configuration switches that set different hardware options, vendors have configured this differently depending on their exact hardware used. In general vendors have not given back their source code, but the settings can be easily reconstructed if you look into the hardware.

There are also a number of hombrewed uSDX radio projects, also these are using the same firmware.
